This beautiful matchbox cover was designed and executed in Jerusalem, Israel. The artisan, DANNY AZOULAY, was born in Morocco and raised in Israel. He is a prize-winning graduate of the prestigious Bezalel Art Academy in Jerusalem, and has exhibited his works in gallery shows in Israel, Europe and the United States. All of his creations reflect deeply traditional aspects of the Jewish experience.
