Shema Yisrael Mobius Necklace Sterling
Shema Yisrael Mobius Necklace Sterling
Considered the most important prayer in Judaism, the Shema is both an affirmation of faith and a declaration of belief. The entire Shema (or sh'ma) is repeated multiple times daily during prayers and comprises Deuteronomy 6:4-9, 11:13-21 and Numbers 15:37-41. The first line of the prayer is written in both Hebrew and English. The geometric form of the pendant is known as a Mobius strip, after the German mathematician August Ferdinand Mobius (1790-1868). It represents the seeming paradox of a plane without end, or one of infinite length. The circlet will move about the chain when worn. The message remains constant, the form never rests. The pendant measures approximately 1" in diameter. Comes with an 18" sterling silver chain. BRAND NEW and MADE IN THE USA! Exquisite choice for birthday, graduation, Mother's Day or even adult bat-mitzvah! This item comes gift boxed, and WE WILL SHIP DIRECTLY TO YOUR GIFT RECIPIENT AT NO EXTRA COST!
